Accommodation Support
Wide Bay Respite Services can provide accommodation support which enables a person to live in their own home, typically sharing a house & staff depending on the support needs & compatibility of the people involved. Each person is encouraged to like an independent lifestyle.
Community Access
Supporting our clients to access the community & attend events promoting the involvement of people with disabilities in local activities.
Centre Based Respite
The person with a disability stays for a few days at the respite house. Staff support the person with 24-hour care.
Guests continue with their day-to-day activities such as school, work or Community Access.
In Home Respite
In home support is offered to frail aged & younger people with a disability. A staff member will come to the family home for a few hours so parents can attend appointments or to have some time out.
